Often when we go through our trials in life, we often become buried in our emotions that have over come us in that very moment. Many a times we forget that God isn't someone we only go to find on 'Sundays', but He is with us every step of the way. He continuously pursues us because we are His children. Like most Fathers out in the world, they want to protect their own children, give them peace, hope, and be the one there for them in time of need. So why do we as God's children fail to see the One that truly matters in our lives during low times, why do we often seek the advice of close family or friends around us first, and not seek God's first?
Let us become Soldiers for Christ, who hunger and thirst for His presence, no matter what our life story is, what our current situation is, because we must be reminded that though the seasons change, God's love remains. When darkness prevails, His light will shine... when the world around us turns cold, His hope and peace gives us warmth.
Recognizing how God operates in our lives and in others’ circumstances will help us desire to pursue Him.
We are seeking God when:
1) we spend time discovering who He is and what pleases Him;
2) our day is not complete without fellowship with Him; and
3) we find ourselves trusting Him more and leaving behind ungodly habits.
